Rob Ruth - KD8AZQ would like to thank the VE Team for another very successful Hamfest VE Session.

 

Here are the stats:

We had 13 candidates, adminstared 18 tests, in 1hr 45min. GREAT JOB!!!!

5 Techs, 4 Generals and 2 Extras, we only had 2 that didn’t achieve there Goal.

 

We introduced  5 new Tech’s to the world of Amateur Radio, upgraded 4 to General, and we had one come in with nothing and test up to General.

 

The big success story was Mr. Clifford 'Kip' Button.  He had a Novice license back in the early 80s.  He came and and commanded all 3 elements of testing to go from no license to Extra in one sitting.  (He does hold a commercial communication license.)
